Track-bound flat wagons are used to move containers which, after being filled, have to be transported to a shunting yard to be picked up by a tipping container vehicle. The simplest version is a wagon with a rigid platform and manual drive. For other requirements, the platform can be rotated by 90° or moved lengthwise on the wagon. All movements can also be motor-driven.
