The diverter plow enables the belt conveyor to be unloaded at a location in the conveying line. A lifting table is raised hydraulically, pneumatically or mechanically and causes the belt to lose its trough shape and become flat. At the same time, the diverter plow blade lowers onto the belt and pushes the bulk material off the belt and into a chute.
