A conveyor bridge is a relatively light belt conveyor of conventional design with a supporting-frame support spacing of 3 m and which is mounted on a steel structure. The bridge consists of a continuous beam resting on supports that can be spaced up to 25 m apart.
Common characteristics:
Axial distances 50 – 150 m
Belt widths 500 – 650 – 800 – 1,000 – 1,200 – 1,400 mm
Inclines up to a maximum of 18°
The drive power is essentially calculated from the throughput, the length, the speed of the belt and the conveyor inclination.
